Description
In 2023, Yamaga Blanks designed and developed the Seawalk Tairubber rod series, to offer a completely new design and concept to Tai Rubber fishing enthusiasts. The Seawalk rod series challenges everything we know about Tai Rubber and offers new possibilities.
There are various fishing methods for the Red Sea Bream, therefore Yamaga Blanks has developed four models that have been carefully selected to match each style and situation, highlighting the individuality of each rod.
The «AT» type that has refined the basic performance of Tai Rubber, as it automatically hooks the fish, just by continuing to retrieve the jig. The «D» type is for fishing in complex structures with intensive currents, such as deep waters over 100m. The «S» type of rods, offer sensitivity and a supple tip, to capture shallow areas and delicately sense small bites, during low fish activity. The «F» type, with refined sensitivity, for quickly hooking bites and increasing the reaction speed. Each rods blank offers a light feeling, like a light game rod and as an extension of the Blanks developed the SeaWalk Tairubber 60F rod, to add to its arsenal a highly responsive Tai Rubber model, with a highly repulsive blank, for a more aggressive approach, targeting Red Snappers, Dentex and Groupers. The suitability of this Tai Rubber rod, to more aggressive presentations, begins from the high responsiveness and quick recovery of the bending curve, due to the high carbon concentration.
More specifically, the Seawalk Tai Rubber 60F rod has been built with a carbon solid tip, to increase its sensitivity and allow the fisherman to feel any change in currents, or even the tiniest of bites. At the same time the highly responsive butt section, allows anglers to swiftly and aggressively hookup the fish.
Although it is short in length , the stiffer blank, with the smooth bending curve enables the angler to accomplish two things: better control the rig as it descents towards the bottom and offer stability when reeling in your rig, without any blank intervals. This way you can maintain your concentration and aggressively hook up at your will.
Furthermore, the highly responsive blank, will allow Tai Rubber enthusiasts use a wide range of low weight jigs and adopt to the conditions.
Yamaga Blanks highly recommends the SeaWalk Tai Rubber 60F rod, to be mounted with a Baitcasting reel, Daiwa , or Shimano for fishing in depths from 30 to 100 m.
