The Yamaga Blanks SeaWalk Cast Jigging Swim & Skip rods, belong to the Boat Light Jigging Series for 2024. This is a series of rods, offered in different power classes, at 71ML and 73M that allows the angler to efficiently explore the potential of a wide area, with the use of various metal jigs, plugs, jig heads, etc. The main concept was to enjoy fishing from the boat. By combining casting properties, with vertical fishing right under the boat, the possibilities of offshore coastal games will be greatly expanded, and a new light jigging style will be developed.

Yamaga Blanks has developed the SeaWalk Cast Jigging Swim & Skip rods, so that they can be combined with various lures, support high-speed jerking style of metal jigs with blades and at the same time possess strong casting properties. These are versatile rods that can be enjoyed targeting a variety of fish, in a wide range of water depths, in different seasons.

Both 71ML and 73M are long casting performance rods, easy to handle regardless of the size of the boat, hence they can be used from kayaks, to recreational boats and fishing boats. The 71ML is a Casting model that emphasizes smooth retrieves and stable reeling from low to high speed. The 73M is a casting model that enables you to cast and jerk your lure easily and briskly.

With its flexible tip and butt section, the 71ML is a model that has improved the basic characteristics of Cast Jigging by suppressing flapping of the jig, even during high-speed retrieves. It provides to the angler stable reeling comfort and smooth hooking. It is easy to cast far with this rod and even though it is a ML power class, the butt section keeps unexpectedly big fish, under control. Use it from shallow areas, to depths around 20m, with blade jigs, metal vibration lures, Inchiku, or silicone lures with jig heads and take advantage of its high sensitivity. Please notice how the Casting Weight changes depending on the way you are casting . The suitable reel size for this rod is SW4000 to SW6000. If you mount it with SW5000 or SW6000 class, the recommended line size for this rod is PE#1.5.

The 73M is the rod that masters various kind of lures, such as Jigs, Blades, Vibration Plugs, Minnows, Soft Lures with Jigheads, with high operability in various levels of the water column. The 73M SeaWalk Cast Jigging SS rod also has moderate stiffness, slightly more than the 71ML model. It is easy to cast a heavy weight lure, such as Minnows, Sinking Pencils and Jerk baits farther than you expect with light force even under hand. This is a rod to target migratory species when they are feeding on the surface. Please notice how the Casting Weight changes depending on the way you are casting . The suitable reel size for this rod is SW4000 to SW6000. If you mount it with SW5000 or SW6000 class, the recommended line size for this rod is PE#2.0.

With the SeaWalk Cast Jigging Swim & Skip rods one can target multiple species, in all layers of the water column, by letting the lure «swim» and then letting lure «skip» .
