An 100% Made in Japan rod, for one of the most popular fishing styles in the Upper East. The Tenryu Brigade Eging is a tailor made rod for in-shore squid and cuttlefish fishing.
The Brigade has a strong blank, that will maintain its shape and action, even after years of aggressive jerks. Equipped with Fuji® titanium frame guides with SiC rings, an LDB guide at top section, and low profile guide at the butt section. The two sections have a spigot ferrule, that allows the rod to be bent smoothly.
The Tenryu Brigade has ample tensile strength all across its blank, from tip to butt, helping anglers to quickly whip the rod at the first jerk. It is a lightweight rod that will allow you to cast squid jigs for many hours without fatigue. Its tip is very sensitive and transmits to the butt any bit of information coming from the end of your line.
The Tenryu Brigades casting ability will allow your squid jigs to reach distances that no other jig has reached before. In particular the BG83MH model is a versatile rod for jerking squid lures between size #3.0 and #4.0. But you can also try it with smaller jigs, as it is a great all-around use, especially in early fall season. Needless to say its fighting power with giant squids, or cuttlefish is beyond anything you have experienced before.
