The Maxel Transformer Speed Jigging 51BM rod, has been developed with Hybrid Carbon sheets by Toray Industries. It is a nano-level carbon fiber material, that achieves both high strength and high elasticity.

It is a latest technology carbon material, used in the field of aerospace or in aircraft applications , where extreme performance is required. The difference between Toray material, compared to other composite materials is that when compared , they both behave identically until the maximum load, after which the Toray shows a significant increase in energy absorption, offering higher-strength and higher-elasticity.

The Transformer Heavy Jigging rod series include state of the art and far more advanced jigging rods, with unmatched power to stop the target fish. It provides unprecedented sensitivity that allows you to feel the jigs action.
