Unfortunately not all Shimano reels can benefit from the addition of a Gomexus knob. To make sure that you can install a Gomexus CNC Round knob to your reel, you need to check if:
Your reel is included in the attached lists of Shimano reels for knobs with 35/38 mm diameter or for knobs with 41 mm diameter.
The existing knob can be removed with an ordinary screwdriver
The length and width of the shaft is exactly as described below
If your Shimano reel, is included in the lists of compatible reels, then you do not need to make any other checking. It fits.
If your reel is not included in the lists above, then in order to find out if you can install a Gomexus CNC Round Knob to it, without the need to drill, you need to check the following:
Examine how the knob has been fitted to your reel.
With regards to the size of the Gomexus CNC, they can all fit to your reel, if the above conditions are met. The only factor you need to consider is the weight, of the knob and how this affects the overall weight of the reel.
