The Dragon X-Treme rods, are the continuation and at the same time adaptation, of the very durable in-shore blanks, known as X-Force series. The Dragon X-Treme blanks are produced in Super Tight Wind® in an 100% computer controlled production line, which allows for unprecedented precision in tight weaving of Japanese Toray fibers. The blanks fibers are being arranged quite tight and they do not have to be grinded at any stage, resulting in dozens of thin layers being wrapped on a very thin core. This way the Dragon X-Treme HD Jigging rods achieve a very slim blank.
The end result is that the X-Treme HD Jigging rods look a lot like Spinning rods, with medium action and carry all the parameters of Casting and reserved power, as with solid Pilker rods. Low in weight, offering great balance, power and a dynamic feeling of the lure, all of which characterize the X-Treme HD series.
Depending on the length and casting weight of the rod, there is one rod available to meet the requirements of various Mediterranean fishing styles such as Tai Rubber, Slow Jigging, Kabura fishing, Live Bait fishing and Vertical fishing. They come in variations for Spinning, or Jigging reel.
