Daiwa has adopted a new, tougher PE line, to create the 8 strands UVF Saltiga DuraSensor braided line.
The formula combining two technologies is simple: Tough PE x New Evo Silicone² = An increase of more than 300% in wear resistance compared to other Daiwa products. Daiwa presents the UVF Saltiga DuraSensor X8 + Si2, a universal braided line which will work in any type of angling.
The Saltiga UVF Durasensor is made in Japan, using the latest Daiwa technology, to produce a silky smooth, super thin line, which is perfect for a host of fishing scenarios. Featuring Daiwa’s Muscle PE fibers for a higher abrasion resistance and more durability, the Saltiga UVF Durasensor is a very tough braided line, despite its very thin diameter. Muscle PE fibers are up to 4x more abrasion resistant than normal braided lines, maintains an even rounder profile and prevents water from being absorbed into the braid fibres.
Not all braided line coatings are created equal, and Si2+ is the latest iteration of the technology, which impregnates the individual fibres rather than coating them, for a long-lasting finish, which aids in hydrophobicity and line management. Combining Muscle PE with the famous Si2+ silicon coating created the ultimate braided line for Daiwa.
In the larger 300m spools, the Saltiga UVF Durasensor x8 is available with traditional multi-colour, 10m marking.
