Crony, is an internationally acknowledged rod manufacturer from China, constantly evolving to gain more loyal followers and customers worldwide.

The Gundog+Plus rod series is a new project for the Gundog company, incorporating the experience, the know-how and each markets needs. The Gundog+Plus series was created for the Greek market, to meet the needs of the most «experienced» fishermen, looking for better value for money in a pure Seabass rod.

The Gundog+Plus Seabass rod, features a blank made of multiple layers, of high density carbon fibers – 97% Toray Carbon material – which Crony further processes with 100T pressure, during the production process. This way, a low weight and high strength blank is created.

The lower section has a split handle, made of anti-slip EVA, while a little higher, at the point where the angler holds the rod, Crony installed a reinforced handle, covered with eco-friendly, anti-slip rubber material, providing comfort and a safe grip. Each Gundog+Plus rod is equipped with Fuji O Concept guides, with a stainless frame. The reel seat is Fuji VSS. The various aesthetic and design details on the rods blank, make it look like a much more expensive rod.

The GUPS-812 Seabass model, at a length of 2.46 m, Casting Weight ranging between 5 – 30 g, and the weight being only 116 gr, has a Regular Fast action and represents one of the best options in the specific budget level. It addresses the needs of Spinning anglers, who use Minnows up to 28 g, or floating lures weighing between 15 to 23 g.

The GUPS-922 is closer to the core Seabass rod characteristics. At 2.79 m of length it supports fishing from rocky shores with heavier lures such Flyer Minnows and Sinking Pencils.
