Description
The Raptor-X is a 3X-Wire treble hook, whose design has been inspired by one of the best treble hooks, BKK ever launched: the Raptor-Z.
The hook gap-shank proportions are maintained to equip the Raptor-X with excellent holding power, yet the hook point is slightly straightened to enhance the hook-up rate, further heightened by the slimmer profile of the wire and by the Hand-Ground processing technology.
Featuring a lighter wire and being available also in very small sizes, the Raptor-X can be suitable to arm smaller lures without affecting their swimming action. The lightness of the hook structure is increased also by the Hand-Ground processing, through which the hook is manually sharpened by removing material around the point.
The Bright-Tin coating of the Raptor-X aims at maximizing its performance in terms of saltwater corrosion resistance, being thereby suitable even for harsh saltwater environments.

BKK utilizes the Hand Ground technology to make the hook point sharp to unprecedented level with incomparable penetration performance. The sides of a traditional conical hook are forming a triangle sword blade, reducing piercing resistance, enhancing hook penetration, wear and bending resistance at the point. Using skilled hand ground technology to turn both sides of traditional conical hook points, to equivalent triangle sword blade, it will not only reduce the resistance when piercing jaws, but enhance the penetration easiness and speed. The hook structure results in a lighter hook, allowing for reinforcement of the most stressed parts of the hook, through the application of additional material. The design concept is same as slopes of a ships hull. The steeper the slope, the less resistance, which makes ship sailing in high speed. The HG technology enables the hook to reach unprecedented levels of penetration.
